And that is the key...free market solutions. Here in California it is now mandated that all new home construction have solar. That adds at least $50K to a home. Okay...Solar is fine...not the best power generator around, but it works...at a price.

But the top down solutions are a boot on the neck. If there are answers to solve our problems, the market place will decide whether or not the solutions are viable. People will line up to throw their money at a solution if they see a cost benefit in the long run. Currently, I see no postive cost benefit to any of the proposed solutions being bandied about by this Green New Deal.....Might as well call it the New Red Deal...

You’re on target with your post. Back in the 1990s, I considered buying a 20 acre plot near Napa Valley. I discovered that I could only build four houses on that property. Each house needed a minimum of five acres.

Naturally, I told the Nazi politicians where to stick it and walked away.

Until California citizens are willing to organize and threaten to kill the Nazis in California, the state will continue to be a sh*thole.
