I just now watched it. I liked how he showed the ins and outs of the car. It’s incredibly clean throughout. However, he was a bit annoying at various times.

I don’t think they (GTXs) get much better than the one in this video. Only “problem” is it’s an automatic.

Wow! Best of luck with it!

They are on my all-time top 3 muscle cars list.

Reminds me of my very first brand new car after I started my first full time job. It was a 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury, a sleek two door V8 blue (similar to this car) with a black vinyl top. The interior was white faux leather with front bucket seats.

I was in Hog Heaven with that car, and it really was a hog in size. Today, I can’t imagine driving a car that size. My how times have changed.

Always loved Molars! Roadrunner, Cuda, Challenger, Super Bee, GTX, Duster, even the Dart, if done right.

B5 Blue is a great color. It wasn’t the best for car show trophy’s back in the 80’s/90’s (red, orange, yellow, black ftw) but it is a great color that really stands the test of time.

Yes. Great color. I also love the rims and raised-letter tires.

Magnum 500's are the best wheels for late 60's/early 70's muscle cars.

I love the Blue/Black combo.

I had a '71 SC360 in the early 80's and It could win car show trophies, but it would always lose to a brighter colored cars.

“I always thought that the car was waiting for the right moment to kill me.”

I don’t feel comfortable over 80 on public roads. As a kid I had a 68 Chevy pickup that would do over 120. It was like floating in a balloon. It’s too fast to react to a common situation like a car pulling out in front or some other obstacle.

Those old engines couldn’t take prolonged high RPM’s. That truck had a modified 283, and I’d often go over a 100. I typically got about 30,000 out of it before major overhaul. On one run the rocker arm studs pulled out of the head on two cylinders.

Don't know what that is, but nicely done! Is it an AMC?

The SC360 was a "AMC Roadrunner" meant to be a cheap ($2,800) performance car to get around high insurance premiums. Mine was a 285 Hp 360 4bbl Go-pack (Posi, functional hood scoop), 4 speed. Hot rod tested the SC360, it ran mids 14's 100% stock with the auto trans, so the insurance companies slapped it with a high performance car surcharge, so AMC's plan failed, and they sold less than 700 of them.

I've had a '68, '2 '69's and a '70 AMX, but sold them when people were offering 2X-3X what we had in them.

We traded my SC360 + $6500 for this '68 390/Auto in 1986:

We bought this '69 Hurst SS/AMX #23 from Hemmings in the early 1990's:

There is something special about a Coupe without a B Pillar. Nowadays only German Cars are still built that way.
