For the record, while working as church staff, I sacrificed two years of my life and my nascent ministry there to stop spousal abuse of a lone woman whose plight was being ignored by the 300 parishioners and the rest of the staff.
As someone who has championed women, and paid a personal price for doing so, I am getting more than slightly tired of this categorical assertion by you and certain others.
Cite specific statements from specific persons, seek verification, and report them for abuse if warranted, but refrain from these blanket accusations. Doing so is misandristic. (See how that works? Shoe, meet other foot.)
Sorry - I certainly didn’t mean to accuse any one person, certainly not you. I just scrolled down feeling most taking Depp’s side and spewed out my little complaint. I do not know the woman and at least I did admit to that. I do assume Depp was abusive and I still do.
