A Denver high school reversed a controversial policy on Thursday that allowed students to opt out of attending a Black History Month assembly.
Officials at George Washington High School told ABC News parents no longer will be allowed to prevent their children from attending individual assemblies amid backlash over its decision to let students opt out of an upcoming black history celebration in March.

George Washington should be ashamed that his name is associated with Stalinist indoctrination. The purpose of education should be to train minds to think for themselves, not, as Charles Foster Kane put it, to “think what I tell them to think.”
If the event is so controversial, why not cancel it?
If the kids were white we would have been told about it to fit the narrative. My guess is that it is mostly a bunch of non-white immigrant kids and they don’t really care and or they really hate the black bigots that lord it over them.
I would put the shoe on the other foot, do they even want white kids in these schools?

Just curious. Which month is White History Month? And Oriental History Month? Or Native American Month?

I would never send my kids to public schools and I recommend you do not either.

Why are we paying these a**holes to run our schools? They have no right to dictate to us.
