Avocado toast is really terrific. A good crusty whole grain bread, mashed avocado, some crunch coarse grain sea salt. Yum.
We’ve got a coffee house here in Coeur d’Alene called “The Vault” (old bank building) that has outstanding avocado toast.
It’s a regional thing.
Down here, avocado needs to be mixed with jalapeno’s, onions, cilantro and lime juice.
