What I’ve not seen is it has an emergency clause making it effective immediately. Scheduled for 4:30 cst.

I just read the text of the now signed legislation. It is NOT emergency effective and goes into operation on November 1. I was surprised that long guns and handguns may be carried openly, or concealed. BUT, the new law says that if a person does not have the carry license, the firearm must be unloaded. My memory from other Oklahoma law is that if a round is not chambered, it is unloaded. Revolvers and derringers are problematic. I hadn’t heard anything about the unloaded requirement. Had you? Personally, having a CCW from several states, it is irrelevant to me.
