That’s just the problem.
Hollywood, when it’s not force-feeding viewers leftist propaganda, can’t seem to get much more creative inspiration than the nearest comic book. Then they churn out some movie with bright colors and loud sounds, like the stuff you dangle over a baby’s crib. Then they remake their pablum. Then remake the re-make. Then they hold awards ceremonies where they spout MORE leftist propaganda, pat themselves on their backs for their creative brilliance, and lecture all of us - before heading off to one of their multi-million dollar estates, or go off hunting for some starlet to ... ahem, introduce to the business.
I wouldn’t give these vermin a DIME to support their “industry.”
Well said.
OK that's just a really really good dis. No deductions. 10.0
The contrast between most ‘big’ movies now and from the 40s is just astounding. They used to make film plays based on classic and current literature and they seemed to do pretty well. Now, it seems, the big movies are based on comic book characters or fairy tales/children’s stories. Hollywood did make such films in the 40s but they were B movies or serials.
