To: Hot Tabasco
I haven't seen any redwings yet down here. They don't usually show up here at my feeders till about late March or early April, followed by the dreaded Starlings and Purple Grackles who quickly empty out the feeders.

I did see a bunch of Robins about 3 weeks ago, about the earliest I've ever seen those guys here.

Prettiest bird that ever visits my feeders is the male Painted Bunting. Can never get a picture of one, they're extremely wary and nervous. I may have to set up a motion activated system to finally snap one.

Wow, that is a pretty bird.....

I've been doing my part to rid the country of those damn English/House sparrows......But they've gotten pretty skittish and when they see me open my back deck's patio door when I'm about to shoot them from my dining room table they take off.
