RE: Jeep hiring..
That’s good, cos GM announced in November 18 that they are closing about 5 plants, mostly in SE Michigan, and one in Ontario.
“According to the release, GM will lay off 14,700 factory and white-collar workers. Of those, 8,100 will be white-collar workers that will either take buyouts or be laid off.”
And..has anyone seen the commercials for the new Jeeps? They’re 4-doors, but trying too hard to look like the Jeeps (CJ5) we use to rip around on dirt roads and hills. I dismissively call them “Mom Jeeps”. Only someone who lives in the sticks and loves to drive a stick gets the irony.

Seriously the 4 door jeep is a beast. Only had to pull it out of the muck with my tractor once. Cant wait for the pickup.
