Lil Annie Coulter should have been the presenter. She has been on her period for about 2 1/2 years.

My mom said the same thing. She thought she was bleeding to death.
She had 3 older sisters that could have prepared her. My grandmother was a midwife and couldn’t explain it.
Back then, talking to girls at 8 about their cycle was considered a bit early. I’m just glad she did tell us about it. I most likely would have really freaked.
I just could not for the life of me picture my grandmother, a common sense woman, excellent nurse, unable to explain it to her own daughter. I never thought to ask who told my mother’s younger sister before it hit her. Most likely my mother, not wanting her younger sister to be scared almost witless like she was because of lack of knowledge.
I don’t have girls. Still took the time to cover it with my sons and threatened their extinction if I ever heard of either of them mocking any girl about it.
