Three? The news reports I read said there were two trans competitors, the same two guys who dominated the girls outdoor championship last year. They again finished 1-2. I'm not aware of a third.

The remarkable thing is how quiet the parents and opposing coaches are. I know it's Connecticut, but the intimidation and silencing is more disturbing than the mere fact of two boys running in the girls event. If it were me, I sure wouldn't be keeping my mouth shut.

I wonder if the racial angle is a major factor in this particular situation. I have no information one way or the other about this, but it does stand out. Two teenage African American boys are proud of putting the white girls in their place. And it's high school; they are getting peer approval for this. It may be telling that there aren't any white trans athletes involved here.

The Texas wrestler who gets a lot of press is white, but if memory services, she is a biological girl wrestling against girls, as required by Texas law. The issue in her case is that she is transitioning to male and is doing drug therapy -- steroids, testosterone, whatever. These give her a major advantage. Their use is strictly banned for the girls against whom she is competing. To her credit, she wants to wrestle against the boys; she is trapped by a correct and proper Texas law, but it is not her preference to take unfair advantage of the other girls.

Cripes sake, I went to that High School. Makes me sick to see what Liberalism has done. This could not have happened when I attended , the male faculty would have stopped the race from running. But that was when all the male teachers were WWII vets and they didn't put up with crap from anyone from students to the Board of education. I call this problem the feminizing of education.
