As you can tell from my tagline, I love “The Prisoner.” Amazon has it and “Danger Man” for those moments when only Patrick McGoohan will do.
Monty Pythons Flying Circus
She loosened up on the episode where they compare modern rocka and roll to the Charleston or the Jitterbug of the ‘older’ generation.
Rockford Files is a classic if you can overlook the overplayed car chases. Sometimes it seems like the plot show was a bit too short so they added some extra car chase scenes to pad the hour.
I love the episode, “Quickie Nirvana” with the hippie chick.
Stuart Margolin as Angel Martin was SO good as the weaselly friend who could always be counted on to flip on Rockford when the chips were down.
If I remember correctly, the agent in Danger Man and the guy in The Prisoner, are one and the same, and that’s what happened to him when he tried to retire.
The Paul Hogan Show. A lot like Benny Hill or Dave Allen at Large.
One of his characters was Leo Wanker, a more unfortunate version of Super Dave Osborne.

Maverick
I was just thinking about Dave Allen at Large, he was brilliant.
I’ve just noticed that YouTube has been removing Python videos left and right recently.
I live in a gated retirement golf community in Florida. Everybody has a golf cart and greets others riding by. I live in The Village.
Be seeing you!
I didn’t see Blue Bloods on that list. Did I miss it?
I’m with you, pal. Emergency! is highly underrated. They staged five seasons worth of rescues and did it all without computerized special effects.
Add to that excellent list:
Sandbaggers
Danger, UXB (unexploded bomb)
I always thought that he should have married Charlene Darling ...
The problem of WKRP is the music track. They didnt license it past first run or something. Theyve been trying to bring it back and have largely succeeded at least on DVD.
That’s one of my favorite episodes. Peggy was hilarous.
Good adds, esp. the latter .. have seen both in their entirety.
Rockford Files was truly great!
Dave Allen LOL. They did one skit where they are lowering a casket into the hole and the hole is a lot deeper than the ropes were designed for. As they are on their knees trying to not let go of the ropes, the devil laughs and a large propane fire ball blows out of the hole.
They had to have gotten singed hair but at least non of it caught fire!
