Yes, I think it’s GREAT that the Police Chief and the Judge are ANGRY about Smollett’s crime. Delicious.
The point the Police Chief made— eloquently and no doubt heard by LOTS of chicagoans— was that 100’s of crimes against blacks happen in chi-town, horrible, real crimes— and these crimes don’t get even a minute’s mention on media tv, or in the papers— and yet this hoaxer, CREATED a fake crime to advance himself in some obtuse way. To get attention for himself (looney) AND to somehow create “fame” to justify an increase in his pay at a tv show!!
Honestly, the Police Chief wins hands down— black on black crime actually happening at an alarming rate (kids killed, druggies, and sex crimes)— and this guy gets all the media attention for something that he hired other blacks to do to him, and he has the utter gall to say the police “faked” the report. The two Nigerians will say differently, inasmuch as they are implicated in a prison sentence crime all themselves— and this clown actor, the organizer and payor—he should do time, for wasting valuable police resources.
