Tesla will be gone in 10 years. That’s my prediction. Unless they find a way to compete with more mainstream producers.
The new Audi electric car will be amazing and cost infinitely less than a Tesla. The main issue with Tesla, even as opposed to normal cars is the potential to have dated technology. You have to be pretty disciplined to buy a Tesla with the idea that you’ll keep it for 20 years.
Think about that Tech that existed in cars 20 year ago vs. now? Think about how many cars you’ve owned over the last 20 years.
Can other cars get over the air updates like Teslas?
Four vehicles in the last 20 years, still have two of them, one is twenty years old.
I'm just not interested in "all that technology".

Chinese will buy it. And, will roll it in with Volvo and use its already established dealership network to sell and service the brand.

That is an extremely optimistic prediction. As public confidence in Tesla's product and future declines and other manufacturers start bringing better electric vehicles to market their sales will drop off to almost nothing. Their quality control has already been chopped. I would guess they will go into chapter 11 in the next year at which point they will stop honoring most warranty repairs - especially high dollar items like the batteries. This will be one of the final nails in their coffin.
What we are witnessing is the rise and fall of Elon Musk, a talented marketer and visionary, but a shyster none the less and someone who will disappear from the public eye in a flash once his empire implodes.
