The 801 MPH is ground speed not airspeed. Mach 1 is based on airspeed not motion relative to the gound.

Speed of sound still 750 mph but you must be traveling that speed in relation to the wind. To the plane in the wind it’s still only going 500-600. No sonic booms. No structural problems.
