We have been getting little snowlets, followed by melts. Another coming in, this evening. I actually havent used my tractor and snowthrower thus far.
On a happy note, that big DeWalt radial arm saw works! I finally replaced the old, rotted power cable, restrapped the motor for 220 VAC and restrapped the starter transformer from 440 VAC to 220 VAC, and hooked it to the rotary phase converter. I powered it up and not only did it run, but run in the proper direction. Now, I need to evaluate the bearings, and continue with the restoration.
Are you in Ohio?
We have had past winters where we haven’t had to use any snow equipment, disastrous for fire season.
Good luck on your restoration.
Did you catch it?
:-D
