If liberals ever came across any comic books from the WWII years, they’d plotz. Back then comic creators loved America and hated its enemies with a passion, and put that in their stories. From what I understand, the roles are quite reversed today.

They are snapshots of the time, just like the John Wayne interview. The left can’t or won’t see through that lens.

Even heroes of the Left, like Dr. Seuss, drew outrageous caricatures of the Japanese, that would have probably been banned today.
