No it wouldn't have. But McCabe's assertion serves to throw dirt on a man, Devin Nunes, who I consider to an outstanding patriot.
As others have noted, Nunes was removed from the Chair of the Intelligence committee around Feb 2017, for a bogus ethics complaint, and didn’t get it back for about 6 months. So the timing of the McCabe briefings is relevant to any concerns about Nunes. I don’t trust McCabe, and I do trust Nunes. He has proven himself loyal to the cause. So, to me, either McCabe gave info to Congress that was incomplete, or they didn’t give it to Nunes, or McCabe is completely lying. Burr and Ryan were derps, so they would not have objected, but even they were probably not told the whole story.
