People didn’t just WANT to believe Jussie, they NEED to believe the narrative that white people, especially Trump supporters, are racist homophobes that hunt down people like him. Truth be told, Jussie could walk around at 2 am in most white towns with not a worry about his safety. No one is stalking gay black men, or any of the other intersectionally privileged classes. It’s all in their heads. But if they had this one case, they could beat us over the head with it, over and over. And they probably still will, like Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and dozens of other cases of fake outrage.
Looks like he also sent himself “White Powder” just before this, but that did not garner the needed headlines and high profile he was looking for.
Conservative American is so fair and unbiased that liberals need to hire people to beat themselves up, in order to confirm their own personal biases.
They invested heavily in this narrative and they needed an optic to spin it up.

What they are is filled with burning anti-white hatred, and with their lies they hope to stimulate others to injure or kill whites for pleasure or sport.
