In this case the “victim” let the noose stay around his neck until the media showed up, which means that even in an infinite multiverse this story is 100% fake in every universe.
What is missed here is the "noose" was using a windsor knot. While a windsor knot is also a slip knot, a proper noose uses eight to thirteen coils.
