The Guardian, as usual is a joke.
Sea levels have been rising ever since the end of the last ice age. The level rise is essentially linear, rising around 4 mm/year. The trend shows NO increase since 1900. None. Period.

You only get a change in the rise levels if you cheat. Which, of course, is what progressives do since science is most definitely not on their side.

I was watching a TV last night on the Science channel. It was about a town on the south coast of Greece that was now covered by the Med. It was just offshore in a bay. It was only underwater by 20-30 feet. They mapped it all out and showed where all the buildings used to stand. There were actual clay pots that dated from around 1600BC.

Sometime between 1600 BC and 1000 BC a series of three earthquakes resulted in the land slowly sinking over about 600 years and people moved away. There was not one major catastrophe like Pompeii. They also stated that the SEA LEVEL rose over this same period because of the ending of the last ice age.

The show was called finding Atlantis or something silly.
