I’m injecting a supplement to counteract low T, which to my benefit, has brought other hormones into balance, as well as helped me to achieve an optimum level of testosterone (which, BTW, is NOT 1,000, like all us men wish we had).

The endocrinologist offered it either by injection, cream or an implant. I picked injection. No pills were offered, so I’m not going to bother with off the shelf supplements.

I have low hormones naturally due to a pit tumor, so I’ve been supplementing (transdermally) for forever. Only recently they wanted to put in some t, and I told them please only 1/2 what you give to most women, and it is amazing; I’d never stop. Helps your workouts, your mood, your strength. And because I asked for only half, I have no “male” side effects. I think the standard dose that women get is why they don’t like it: too much! Acne, breakouts, lower voices, more hair. I don’t have any of that. Hormones add so much to the quality of life. But they should not be given orally or synthetically.
