I have a very definite idea on what to create and sell on Etsy. It involves making pins, necklaces, wristbands and possibly costume rings.
And involves riding my bicycle and photography which I really enjoy.
Making coin rings would be cool but I think one really needs a garage for that. I floated the idea about using one of our two bathrooms but my wife shot that down real quick.
My goal is simply to have fun and if I make 100 or 200 euros a month then thats good for me.
Will share more here (bookmarked) when up and running. Anyone, in an urban area could do it. Or something similar.

Even though I have the flu. Recurring flu. You know what having a child in school is like.
One thing that surprised me is polyurethane casting resin in Germany, because it causes cancer. So there is no clear like glass resin to work with. Their clear resin is not totally clear so if you want to show something in it... I dont know how good that is.
But, they had clear sealant and thats good for my main idea. Speaking of which... the main thing I am interested in making is graffiti art pins.
Basically, the video I posted earlier here of the pretty girl making Halloween pins with the shrinks dink printer paper.
I like to ride my bicycle and take pictures. Combining the two while taking pictures of interesting graffiti, of which there is a constant stream going up near me, and using those pictures to printout and then bake (again, like in the video I posted) and glue on pin backs for sale on Etsy.
It occurred to me to check if it is legal for me to use another persons graffiti art to make money. So I asked on a Berlin forum and got good responses. Basically you want to ask the graffiti artist when possible for permission. When possible, I can do that.
So, I got everything I need except now I realized our printer is short of ink.
I bought other art stuff like polymer clay and sculpting tools I can play with. But I dont yet have a real idea for it.
I also bought wire and jewelry tools to make seaglass pendants. I posted at least one video here showing how to do that. Ill make one starting tomorrow. Probably make a few for the family, not going to get rich on Etsy doing that.
Coin rings would have been nice. I see them sell for 50 euros a pop. Would be worth going around doing street markets too. Even if you only sell two or three a day. Or even a week, that pays our food cost.
So thats it here.
Good luck!

I used 24 gauge wire instead of 20 because that was the closest the store had yesterday. So I didnt make more wraps like in the video. Plus I will get bigger hoops for the chain to go through. Happy with the result, especially my first. This seaglass is from one of our beach vacations at Binz. Not going to sell it.
Bttt - enjoying the thread BF!
Don't forget a good sales team.
Thanks for the bump HonkyTonkMan,
Have a good week!
