Well I hate to pop your bubble, but isn't that EXACTLY what happened here? Yes, that did happen, but that's not normally how robberies unfold.
My theory is that the shooter knew this woman, or was hired to kill her, and the robbery was just the cover.
Robbers don't kill people in cold blood and then take the money. They usually tie them up or force them into a locked room or something.
