They stupidly bent over backwards to allow this disaster of a marriage and are reaping the whirlwind as a result.

If they had allowed Charles to marry Camillia, when both were single, instead of that emotionally disturbed Diana, things would have turned out not just very differently, but well.

Harry threatened to renounce his titles, if he wasn't allowed to marry Sparkles and THAT should have been what they said "okay" to.

Harry is a spoiled, petulant, emotionally disturbed, stupid, useless child in a man's body and shan't improve; especially not after marrying the grasping, foul, piece of trash he did.

” instead of that emotionally disturbed Diana,”

I believe Diana didn’t become “emotionally disturbed” until she was trying to live a life with a man who didn’t love her and who cheated on her. It seems the family, who wanted her at first, did as much as possible to isolate her, and make her feel diminished and inferior.

It’s like a married couple when the husband abuses his wife, gaslights her, and then tells everyone she’s crazy. Yeah; she is NOW, thanks to you, Buddy.

now that Wills has two sons and a lovely woman who has matured into a very queenly wife perfectly capable of acting as regaent, Harry’s value as spare has expired and Wills value elevated to spare King. Harry recognized this and was ready to flee the RF altogether, happy with his drunken jetset life. Which is why the family decided to encourage his Sparkles fling, hoping to distract him from flying around jumping into fountains with resultant bad publicity for the RF. They didn’t count on the friends-trip turned pre-honeymoon in Africa. Now, Sparkles, she’s deluded herself into thinking she’ll end up Queen. Did you see her letter to her father? What was with all the flourishing curly-q’s in her writing? Very 17th centuryish - and pretentious. Referring to her half-sister as ‘your other daughter’? Cattiness is offputting to anyone from a mixed family.

She’s also made the same mistake as D - letting her friends speak in interviews for her in putting down a family member - bringing publicity to the family, with her father problem. Which could have been quietly solved in a proper manner by flying over to say hello or vice versa, even Skype would have been a start, and that would have been the end to the drama.

Then there are stunts like the following. Brits tend to compartmentalize history, and any involvement in this on her part will be seen as an affront to that:
