I agree. Turn all castles into historical museums. Make the Royal family buy a new home. They can still be relevant. Sort of like the Vanderbilt or Rockefeller family in the U.S. But it's way past time for them to stop playing "Castle".

I believe Diana didn’t become “emotionally disturbed” until she was trying to live a life with a man who didn’t love her and who cheated on her. It seems the family, who wanted her at first, did as much as possible to isolate her, and make her feel diminished and inferior.

It didn't help that her mother was a "BOLTER", of course, and that her alcoholic father was distant AND remarried.
The "FIRM" did everything possible, to make her 1) feel included 2) protect her 3) help her, long before the public found out about far too much.
