With nest you can assign a portion of the camera’s view to which you want it to respond or ignore. The notifications tell me if it’s a person. The notification comes with 1 second of the pertinent motion, click through for the feed.
Sounds like you’v got a pretty good system.
And two dogs...And of course Mr. pistols....
I love little dogs.
Excellent at guard and you can feed them well for $1 a day.
Always joyous, they’ll often live 16 or 17 years. Getting smarter every year.
Mine is a Chihuahua/Border Terrier mix. He still alerts when a cat walks by...across the street. He hears that well.
I was gonna say, my well-trained Malinois!
Signs:
“We don’t call 911 around here” (with crossed pistols)
“If you can read this, you’re in range” (with a actual target with a tight grouping and maybe a silhouette target with head, heart and groin areas riddled with tight groups).
And maybe a few 2nd Amendment/NRA GOA signs to round it out.
