If it bleeds it leads!
If it’s sensational it’s presentational!
The goal is to sell the newspapers snd/or make you listen or watch the news shows. The more obnoxious the more you are likely to watch. Nowhere is reporting facts a priority!
Just the act of reporting even if just text is a form of bias. It’s a enormously powerful form of bias. If you don’t report it, did it happen?
And no I am not saying the government should be the news source!
Develop filters! Realize the primary motivation! Be skeptical! When the pompous newsitutes preen & prance like Acosta trying to claim some lofty purpose or moral high ground. Laugh at them! They’re just entertainers who can’t sing, dance, or do comedy (Well not deliberately!). They can do a little drama, enough to fake knowledgeable concern & empathy on TV. They’re all frauds!

Perhaps in the past this was the case, but of late, the media has abandoned their own financial interests to accept the position of Democrat propaganda factory. They gladly ignore “if it bleeds, it leads” when it’s a Democrat’s doing the bleeding.

You are right. BUT, the MSM is at the point where it carefully excludes information that is in any way positive toward the President, and toward the Republican Party.
Here’s the problem with your statement for people to “Develop filters!”
You are bright, and have good discernment. The average American has an IQ of 100, give or take. They accept what the reporters tell them, at least partially because they don’t have the skills to look up an alternative view. In addition, they get hit 24/7 with OrangeManBad, so it must be true.
For decades, the Republican Party has been presented to the masses as the center from which all racism and plain old evil comes. We know differently.
