Devin Nunes: ‘Many’ People Will Be Criminally Referred to DOJ After William Barr Confirmed

To point out the obvious: many people have been criminally referred in the recent past to DOJ. That's the easy part.

Apparently the hard part is getting DOJ to indict them.

• McCabe was referred by the OIC/Office of Professional Responsibility after he was fired. Never heard another word about it.

• Grassley refered Avanti and Julie Swetnick, his client, to the DOJ for his lies in the Kavannaugh hearing. Never heard anything about that one either.

• Lindsey Graham and Chuck Grassley referred Christopher Steele to the DOJ for prosecution for lying to Congress, that was last January. Nothing happened.

I am sure there are others, these are the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Hopefully Barr will be more responsive than Sessions, but one can't help but be pretty cynical at this point. The Swamp protects its own.
