What about ultra-pasteurized?

Maybe this is off topic, but, isn’t modern medicine, modern healthcare, extending lives and the quality of life? Also, would it be possible to feed our country without modern food processing; could we all survive on organically grown and raised foods, organically grown produce, free range chickens, etc?

In other words, aren’t there some trade offs which a study such as this simply ignores?

People can start eating what the cattle they're going to eliminate now eat thereby freeing up all that food processing capacity ongoing investment to build windmills and huge solar energy farms.

With many people unwilling to work there will be plenty of time to graze all day, or if you decide you want a job, when you need extra just don't work a day or two. That would also help break the back of the Western Cultural slavery of being required to show up to a job on time.

How's that for adapting to the new world of Occasional Cortex?
