Really? I did know that.
I read a claim that no slaves were brought to the United States. All slaves were brought to colonies, prior to ratification of the U.S. Constitution. Do you know if that is true?

The Constitution allowed the importation of slaves for 20 years, until the end of 1807. In 1807, the
importation of slaves was abolished, as early as it was allowed in the Constitution.
