She should at least be able to compute $10 per hour, 40 hours per week for 50 weeks. 10 X 40 X 50 = $20,000. Perhaps she was allowed to use a calculator starting in first grade and thus has no common sense about numbers. People like this vote on laws that can send us to jail if not followed. Yikes!

And that other Democrat talked about all of 'em feeding at the trough, so I'm guessing the Martian crap must be edible, and make you able to work 40 hours a day! At that rate, you really can make $100,000 a year, so a lot more folks would vacation on Guam (our 57th State), which is why that other Democrat was worried about the island capsizing! And with all the burger-flippers paying taxes on six-figure incomes, we really would have enough money for the Democrat's New Green Deal!

Actually, your numbers are off. At $10 they would have a base salary of $20K and at time and a half over time, federally mandated, they would have for 10,400 hours less 2000 hours regular time they would have earned $126,000 plus regular time for $128,000 before taxes. The fed minimum is $7.25
Of course raising the minimum wage would hasten the automation of McDonald’s to replace the labor. More dangerous than the raising of the minimum wage was the law Obama signed that attacked franchising making all employees part of the corporation which would have really screwed them with taxes, healthcare and a bunch of other things but Trump stopped it from taking affect.
