Chimps are extremely dangerous once they reach puberty.


I remember reading about someone testing a female chimp’s strength. At some point she got upset and ripped the strength measuring device off the wall pegging the needle—so they had no idea how much force she generated. The males are much stronger.

Yes. Their strength has been estimated to be five times that of a fit human male.
