Have you noticed it too? In the last three or four weeks, I'm seeing more Free/Rep postings showing only the Headline, not much else. There are still a few, that include two or three sentences of text from the author, but not the majority as it was until now.
The plus side is that you can squeeze maybe 35% more articles per page than before. The negative, is to paraphrase what Nancy Pelosi said, "You now have to Click it in order to find out what's really in it."
In a textural sense, it almost looks like a different website at first glance. I know there is no actual difference in totality, of course. I can deal with it if need be, but I will miss being able to do some 'Window Shopping' before clicking an article on.
I never click on “brevity” because I don’t want to disturb the soul of wit.
Where are your posting of articles?
I post once in a while.
I don’t post as often as I used to.
I’ve learned that it’s best to wait until there is a topic that almost anyone will have an individual opinion on.
A very familiar experience will produce the most expressive results.
when people post a video it’d be nice if they posted a couple sentence summary of the content.
Of course I’m a hypocrite cause i made this same mistake myself a couple times
True, or links to videos, or sites which FR limits to 300 words or something.
I myself try to put much (Joseph Merrick, "The Elephant Man) .
They might have noticed how many FReepers only read the headlines and are too lazy to read the actual story before they react....
Either that, or material that the blogger stole from some other source.
You must be talking about bubblegummer, or something like that!
Something like that.
