It sounds like a case of following too close. It happens to the best of us, but leaving a safe distance is the only certain defense.

Don’t drive in the Dallas area. If you leave a safe distance, someone WILL cut into the gap. The only way to maintain a safe distance in front is to drive in reverse.

It sounds like a case of following too close. It happens to the best of us, but leaving a safe distance is the only certain defense.I think it was AAA who came out and said that going at 60 MPH, you need to leave a gap of six car lengths behind the car ahead for safety.
Someone wrote in and said when he did that, six cars pulled in front of him.
