Years ago we had an employee come into HR to add a newborn on his health insurance coverage. The child’s name was LaTrine
“The childs name was LaTrine”
I have known a couple of ladies named LaTrinas over the years and I think one of them was from New Orleans. I do not know if if that is where you’re from but your username suggests it might be.
General Patton got a good laugh during WW2 when he visited a town in France that he had been stationed in during WW1.
The towns mayor showed him the memorial the town had built to an American officer buried there during WW1. The townspeople had been scandalized when the American army moved on and left the grave without a headstone, just a wooden sign at the foot of the grave.
Determined to show respect the town put a garden around the grave and placed a grand headstone that was the envy of the town.
After viewing the memorial and thanking the mayor the general got in his jeep and headed out of town.
Seeing the general shaking with tears running down his face the driver stopped, worried that the generals health was bad.
At his drivers concern the general burst out laughing uncontrollably.
Between laughs he explained that no American officer was buried in that village. “It was the g@ddamned officers LATRINE. We filled the hole, mounded it as per regulations and put up a flocking sign “ofc latrine”.
To this day there is a village in France maintaining a monument to American officers turds.
I sold my house to a lady named Latrina.
