You have to look up words in ALL languages to see if it’s bad in ONE of them. Actually, you’re screwed before you start, since certain middle-easterners will claim you’re insulting their god no matter what you say.
In Persian ‘sh*t’ is ‘go’ and gas or fart is ‘goes’. Hard to teach beginning English without a lot of giggling. On the other hand their word for snow is ‘barf’.
