There is an old expression some attribute to Truman that says “if you want a friend in Washington get a dog”. There have been articles in MSM that Trump is the first president without a dog.

I believe the Bushes loved their dogs. Even Billy Bob luved Buddy. The Obamas hated that damned dog. Probably regretted letting their political advisors convince them to get one. Dogs are for eating.
