I’m gonna hafta go with Hostage’s take on RM, pgkdan.

While I can envision scenarios where RR is #notblackhat, I just can’t make make the same leap for RM, given his “designed for” status.

I know I'm in the minority on this but I've ruminated on the subject for hours on end this last year. I don't think RM is a white hat, I think he's decidedly grey. He's not on 'the team' because he wants to be, but rather because he has to be.

At any rate, as his investigation winds down we'll know soon enough.
