Interesting to me to see these signs from nearly 200 years ago.
And #3 (beauty) and #8 (beware) is used locally by the natives in SE Asia where I am retired. I assume they picked them up from international media or the web? Lord knows it wouldn't have been an original notion. They don't have those around here. If wet rice cultivation wasn't so drop dead easy and the methods imported from China or India they would all starve to death.
