Its Swingin' Monday and we have the 1955 version of Bob Wills & The Texas Playboys, vocal by Darla Daret, with the tune Boston Fancy. Ranch Radio has 16 tunes by Wills, such as Pinto Beans, Dusty Skies, and  She's The Quarter Horse Type Of A Gal. THE WESTERNER https://thewesterner.blogspot.com/

That album cover is a hoot. It looks like the photographer had a thing for the back of women’s heads. Or for guy’s faces. You decide. LOL

Dan, the horse, was busy in 1941. After saving his rider from dehydration in Cool Water, he had to get him out of the Dust Bowl in Dusty Skies.

Seems like the horse Dan was mighty popular with songwriters. Bob Nolan wrote Cool Water, Cindy Walker Dusty Skies and Harlan Howard The Blizzard. All Hall of Fame writers too.
