Yeah, I'm from Louisiana.
It’s fine with me cuz I don’t shivagit who wins the stupidbowl.
The Saints defeated themselves. As soon as they reached the 13 yard line they should have switched to the run down the clock and kick field goal on 4th down strategy. Run the ball three times, make LA use all their time outs and run down the clock before making your field goal.
Instead they did three passing plays, leaving time on the clock for LA to come back and tie the game. Its easy to blame the refs but the Saints blew the game with bad play calling.
I’m still plenty incensed about all of this kneeling and protests from 2 years ago. I’ve watched bits and pieces since but not much.
I have never tasted a sour grape...sour grapes look too ugly to eat.
This may insult some blind folks...but they probably could have made a call when the Rams defense double fouled a New Orleans receiver at about 1 yard line, both defensive interference and crown of the helmet targeting.
YouTube it if you haven't seen it. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=end+of+game+call+in+nfc+championship&sp=mAEB
I didn't watch a second of the game on TV. Can't remember ever doing that, except for maybe the first few NFL/AFL games.
“tied for the lowest point total for the Super Bowl winner” => loser
You must be younger and vote for your Senator for President...there are few people here who would say what you said...of course Obama said over half the nation are bitterly clinging to their Bibles and guns.
Stay warm Vermont.
The Fix is in with the NFL.
That was the worst Super Bowl I have ever viewed.
Whatever the NFL was ? It is long gone!
I have never seen a team in the 4th quarter lay down and die, like the Rams did tonight. Never have I seen a QB just stare into the ground, or a coach with a blank stare like the Rams had tonight. Never have I seen a fix like this.
Without a healthy Todd Gurley, the Rams were destined for an uphill struggle. The way they sort of used him but really didnt during the playoffs was weird. He must have been pretty seriously limited by his injury. If they had him running wild like he normally does, everything else would have opened up.
This is what you get when the Refs decide the NFC Champs
Oh please. The game was evenly matched. Both teams were quite worthy.
Super Bowl 1 was great. Hell Green Bay getting there was great. There were good and bad mixed through the years. If you havent been watching, there aint no use to start now. The game is an afterthought to provide an excuse to advertise. Reading or listening to a book is more exciting. Which I got through chapter 5 of a good book during the crap today. Id glance up once and awhile. The media sucks but with the sound off, you can watch a little and read a lot.
Funny, didn't we hear that last year? And the year before that? It worked after SB XLIX, but not for long...
What a boring game that was. 1 touchdown.
I can’t believe what I’m reading. Lots of whining!
One bright spot at the Superbowl was that Gladys Knight gave a fine performance of our national anthem. Despite that idiot Kapernick and his ilk, most Black Americans — including most NFL players — are genuinely patriotic. And, by the way, is it really so bad that the winning team had the quarterback who knows Trump and has a MAGA cap from him?
i agree...a super bore.
and 3 points for rams...good think they had the wunderkind coach. saints would have put up a better fight.
The Rams were in the thing until Goff threw that hideous floating thing that got intercepted. Good God! What an awful decision. He should have been zipping it into the end zone. He’ll watch that floater in his dreams for a long time.
Rams had an excellent defense. Offense was just awful.
So they knelt For the Anthem? Glad the rams beat them.

“...That said the Chiefs just couldnt get it done on defense. The Saints got screwed. IMO....”
The offside call that wiped out an interception by KC didn’t help their cause. Had the pick held up, the Chiefs would have won and we would have seen them in Atlanta. As for the Saints, we all know why they weren’t there.
