Its pretty specific, tho I know of two women who defy the odds. Both white and one in her late 40’s and a kid who was diagnosed when she was 10.
Please let me say this and you take it from another hypo, TAKE YOUR MEDS! We, if we don’t take em, can suffer from heart disease.
I do take my meds faithfully but after I went into menopause my levels started going up and down so sometimes I have to reduce them or stop them temporarily because I get kind of hyper for a bit too.
I think I need more antibodies tested or something.
