So what's really happening is an indictment of an entire edifice of corruption that exists throughout all levels/regions of government. Which gets us to the main point that has been argued all along. It's not individual programs and/or special interest activities that threaten the republic. Rather, it's this monstrous octopus that has grown and ensnared everyone.
How that gets fixed is the question. The uni-party politicians, nomenklatura functionaries and dependent enterprises (that would be the MIC, et al) are all running a $multi-trillion scam. The resistance to this truth is demonstrated by the state of denial so many still express. Not you, per se, but one sees comments like "I can't believe it", as people slowly wake up to the reality of our present situation.

President Trump clearly understands the enormity of this “monstrous octopus.” He called it out in that famous 4-minute campaign speech we have all seen multiple times.
That is why impatient whining of so many for some quick arrests of a few surface denizens is short sighted.
I believe President Trump wants to remove and kill the whole octopus ... a Herculean task, but so was the formation of the nation by Washington et al., and the re-making of the nation by Lincoln.
At least the Marxist invasion started by Wilson and greatly accelerated by FDR has finally been smoked out into the open; as has the globalist-financialist/”Free-Trade” system which was meant to destroy the U.S. economy and replace the U.S. dollar with a globalist currency.
Trump has his work cut out, but he has a huge army of rock-solid supporters who understand this is the big war for the future of America and the world.
