I’ve been traveling on motorcycles most of my life. I keep all sorts of stuff in zip lock bags, especially clothing. After seeing the large storage bags for sale that use a vacuum cleaner I ran tubing to the vacuum ports on my engine and put a small ball valve inline. I can put something like long underwear in a freezer bag with the motor idling and suck the air out and compact them considerably. This will work with almost any engine.
