BTW, just so you know, the parasite comes from the cat food chain — it’s common in birds. Working on those grand old painted lady style homes (around here, common to the old lumber baron families) can expose renovators to risk of picking it up from inhaling dust from pigeon guano (or bat guano). Read about this in my younger days, while considering doing a reno job on a home that was far too large for me. Sleep tight!

I’ve been told that Tennessee has a lot of ‘bird droppings dust in our lungs’ because of the number of birds here. Maybe cats will save us from that?!
