Lots of cynicism abounds, but I'll consider the timing because we are witnessing the too-big-too-fail metastasized Establishment going down in real time, so why not cancer.
Israel has become a technology superpower,
despitebecause of a tiny population and many discriminatory practices overseas, including the noxious BDS movement (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) that seeks economic strangulation of Israeli enterprise.
If evil knew what it were doing, it wouldn't do that.
Israel is unique among nations in many ways beside the obvious factor of being the worlds sole Jewish state. As a hothouse of science and technology, Israel already has offered many life-saving (and life-enhancing) technologies of tremendous benefit to all. This prospective cure of cancer, if successful, promises victory over a major scourge. The BDS movement and the Jew-haters from the progressives in America and Europe to the mullahs of Iran who promise to wipe Israel off the map -- dont want to see this gift to humanity come to fruition. Their destructiveness to the hopes of humanity for actual progress is of the highest magnitude, considering the discoveries that await.
Compare the abject hate directed at anyone who dares to dream about Making America Great Again. Like 17 YO Mr. Sandmann, hated for the dream that was written across his forehead. Hated for who he is.
Put these two groups together (the *real* dreamers), and imagine what they can accomplish with real power. It explains why the destroyers are out in force: the envious, corrupt global Establishment and its true believers have never matured past, "He stole my blessing!", which is a line of bull anyway.
All they can do is scream accusations of white (or Joo) privilege. At best their sense of "accomplishment" involves dragging down the do-ers (visionaries who make their dreams happen) to their level, so they won't look as bad by comparison.
Abel was minded to chose the best offering of all that he had, the best of the best, whereas Cain was satisfied with any old produce. Abel made him look bad. He had to go.
The JP article reads plainly (no scientific expertise required) merely by replacing the word "cancer" with the word "Establishment." That's why the Establishment doesn't want a cure for cancer, and why everyone has been led to believe that cancer can't ever be vanquished. It's "too big to fail", so we've been told.
When the company first started, Morad said, We were doing what everyone else was doing, trying to discover individual novel peptides for specific cancers. But shortly thereafter, Morad and his colleague, Dr. Hanan Itzhaki, decided they wanted to do something bigger.
The biggest dream on the face of the earth is to cure cancer.
What timing.
