I think it is overrated.”

Really?

Who or where is it overrated?

I liked the 1960 version of The Time Machine with Rod Taylor.

I always wanted a time machine.

I second “Moon.”

Outstanding, understated film with an Oscar worthy performance by Sam Rockwell.

Arrival (2016) is very good but hardly anyone saw it. Oblivion (2013) is underrated and is quite good (basically a 1980s SF story using 21st century SFX).

A time Machine like in
“Idiocracy?”

Which gets My Vote as underappreciated.

Agree about 2010. Just ignore the dumb politics.

As I was reading this I was thinking about posting “Outland”. One of my favorites. Connery and Scifi, what’s better than that?

2010 was a great movie. I liked the scene where Roy Scheider comes across Dave Bowman. Scheider really shows fear in that scene.

Saturn 3 (1980) Kirk Douglas and Farah Fawcett. Fine, pre tech movie, before Industrial Light and Magic took over.
For great spoofy fun, check out ‘Mars Attacks’.

Fantastic Voyage (1966). Any movie that has Raquel Welch getting attacked by a white blood cell just has to be a classic.

Read ERB as a kid. Was a little disappointed by the movie.

Battle Beyond the Stars with Robert Vaughn was pretty good.

Think Vaughn was the last remaining character of The
Magnificant Seven.
