They’re really getting all of this out there, aren’t they? Thinking it will all be a nothing burger, by next year?
Just getting it out there early so when or it it should come up they can say that is old news.
Besides in the climate we have today, sleeping your way to get ahead is a resume enhancer.
I just can’t seem to get back into the swing of things around here. Hope everyone is well. I’ve just been so disappointed with how things are going that I’ve stayed away from all things political. Doing a lot of stitching (as usual), and a lot of reading. It keeps my blood pressure down. I haven’t watched one minute of anything political on the television. I think I’m all done with all of it. To me it seems that there is no hope. The few Republicans that I thought were going to stand with Donald Trump turned out to be nothing but talk. Nothing but hot air, and I’m over it.

We have many reasons for hope.
A thought: would President Trump (a man with a successful business history who lived an incredible private lifestyle and who’s a devoted father and obviously close to his children) choose to spend eight years of his life working on a hopeless cause while he has a young son still at home and many young grandchildren close to him?
I don’t think that fits his character.
President Trump is a great general who’s won a lot of battles during the past two years, but we’re still in the middle of the war.
Also, Good is on our side.

Howard Schultz doesn’t have the “guts” to run for President! Watched him on @60Minutes last night and I agree with him that he is not the “smartest person.” Besides, America already has that! I only hope that Starbucks is still paying me their rent in Trump Tower!

Can understand how you are feeling and if it helps you to stay away, not listen to politics, it sure is understandable.

US delays returning asylum seekers to Mexico
TIJUANA, Mexico: The United States has delayed its plan to send asylum seekers back to Mexico while their claims are processed, as the Mexican government said Friday it “disagrees” with the policy.
A Mexican immigration official in Tijuana, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the first returns had been pushed back, possibly to Monday or later.
“It’s not that simple. It’s a very delicate migration situation,” the source told AFP. “These are migrants who have a court date with a judge to seek asylum, which means US authorities have accepted that their lives could actually be in danger. If anything happens to them in Mexico, their families could sue the US government for failing to protect them.
