Why does he not have the National Defense Service Medal ?
Can you help me here, please? I dont know what two days you are talking about. For him to be awarded the medal for the Vietnam conflict he would have had to go active duty as a reservist assigned to a unit directly involved with the conflict prior to January, 1973 when Nixon ended direct U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War by signing the Peace Accords. Our self-proclaimed hero didnt go active until August of 1974 and has no record of entry into the conflict via his DD-214 so he isnt eligible. Please explain your entry so I can understand. Thank you.
